Delhi Mother-Son Duo Kill Father, Chop Off His Body, Store Them In Fridge; Repeat Of Shraddha Murder Case!

New Delhi: Delhi police is intrigued by another gruesome killing in almost the same style as that of Shraddha Walkar’s murder by her live-in partner. The Delhi Police crime branch has arrested a woman and her son in connection with the suspected murder of her husband. The mother-son duo allegedly cut down the body of the deceased into small pieces, stored the pieces in the refrigerator, and subsequently tried to dispose of the body parts in different parts of east Delhi.

This has an uncanny similarity with the suspected murder of Shraddha Walkar, by her 28-year-old live-in partner Aaftab Poonawala, who then allegedly dismembered her body into 35 pieces before throwing it in south Delhi’s Mehrauli forest.

Around June, police discovered the body parts in Pandav Nagar, but were unable to identify them because of how badly they had deteriorated. It was also investigated if the unidentified body pieces were Shraddha Walkar’s as the horrifying details of her murder case began to surface. Police have since discovered that they actually belong to Pandav Nagar resident Anjan Das.

According to the police, the accused—Poonam and her son Dipak—killed Das in June. They added that the victim was first given sleeping pills and then killed. The accused allegedly cut up the victim’s body after that, placed the fragments in the refrigerator, and disposed of them throughout Pandav Nagar and the surrounding areas.

Petrifying footage from nearby CCTV cameras shows Deepak going with a bag in his hand late at night; according to the police, this was one of his journeys to dispose of the body parts. He is followed by his mother Poonam. Another video appears to show them during the day as they search for locations to dump the pieces.
