DMK Temporarily Suspends Shivaji Krishnamoorthy Over His Lewd Remarks On TN Guv RN Ravi

Chennai: DMK leader Shivaji Krishnamoorthy was temporarily suspended for violating party rules after a complaint was filed against him for filthy comments he made about the governor of Tamil Nadu, RN Ravi. He was relieved of his duties with immediate effect after his lewd remarks against the Governor.

Prasanna Ramasamy, the Deputy Secretary to the Governor, reported the incident to the chief of Chennai City Police. Shivaji Krishnamoorthy, a DMK spokesperson, sparked controversy by claiming that “we will send a terrorist to shoot and assassinate” the Tamil Nadu Governor.

The DMK leader used the most ” abusive, defamatory and derogatory language ” against the governor of Tamil Nadu, according to the complaint.

His remarks were captured on camera and went viral on social media as well. The visuals showed RN Ravi leaving the state Assembly.

Governor Ravi’s unwillingness to approve a number of Bills is just one of many disagreements between the two sides. Governor Ravi has likewise avoided naming Dravidar Kazhagam founder Periyar in favour of referring to the ‘Dravidian form of governance.’

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin submitted a resolution asking the Speaker to record the original address prepared by the state administration after Governor Ravi made a reference to it in the Assembly and it was approved.
