Suva: Minister of External Affairs, Dr S. Jaishankar arrived in Fiji in order to attend the 12th World Hindi Conference, which will get underway on Wednesday in Nadi.
Dr Jaishankar stated in a tweet that he is eager to meet Hindi aficionados from all around the world.

The governments of Fiji and India will jointly host the summit in Nadi. Notably, this marks the first-ever trip of Dr Jaishankar to Fiji.
Dr S. Jaishankar is also slated to go to Sydney, Australia on February 18. Since his first trip as the External Affairs Minister in February of last year, he has made three trips to Australia. In Sydney, he will meet with Australia’s top officials. Dr Jaishankar will also be present at the inaugural Australian Raisina@Sydney Conference.
