Gas Cylinder To Cost ₹500 in Rajasthan From April 2023: CM Gehlot

Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Monday made a significant announcement about the cost of LPG or cooking gas cylinders in the state. Gehlot announced today that from April 1, 2023, cooking gas cylinders will be provided at Rs 500 per cylinder to families living Below the Poverty Line (BPL) and the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme in Rajasthan. For those who have been spending more than Rs 1050 for LPG cylinders, this is a tremendous relief.

“I’m getting ready for the budget presentation next month. I just have one thing to say at this time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving the underprivileged access to LPG connections and gas ovens through the Ujjwala Scheme. The cylinder, however, remains empty as the cylinder now costs between Rs 400 to Rs 1040,” he added.
