India To Host ‘No Money For Terrorism’ Conference

New Delhi: In a bid to stop terror funding, India is going to host a two-day international Ministerial Conference on the theme ‘No Money For Terrorism’.

This conference is scheduled to be held in Delhi on November 18,19.

Ministers, diplomats, and counter-terrorism experts from the member states of the Egmont Group expected to attend the meeting.

The Egmont Group recognises that financial intelligence sharing is of paramount importance and has become the cornerstone of international efforts to counter money laundering, terrorist financing, and associated predicate offences.

Financial intelligence units (FIUs) are required by international standards to exchange information and engage in international cooperation.
