Jackal Killed by UP Villagers After it Injures 3 Persons, Second Jackal Killed in 2 Days

Lucknow: A jackal was killed by villagers after it allegedly attacked and injured three persons including a child in the Newari village of Karari area of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.

It was second jackal killed by villagers in the past two days.

A jackal attacked a three-year-old child in the Newari village of Karari area on Wednesday. It then attacked a man working in his field in the same village. Then the animal reached the nearby Khojpur village and attacked another person.

The villagers tracked down the jackal in the Newari area and beat it to death with sticks.

On Tuesday, another jackal was killed by villagers in Hamirpur district when it attacked several people in the Bilpur village.

Meanwhile, the people of Bahraich district in UP and adjoining areas are panicked by a series of suspected wolf attacks. Eight people were killed and more than 35 injured in these wolf attacks.

As per CM Yogi Adityanath’s order, a team of nine shooters are searching the Bahraich forest to shoot the animals attacking the people.
