Jharkhand HC Dismisses Hemant Soren’s Plea Against ED in Land Scam Case

Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court on Friday dismissed CM Hemant Soren’s petition challenging the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoning him over alleged money laundering charges in the Ranchi land scam case.

A division bench of Chief Justice Sanjaya Mishra and Justice Anand Sen rejected the petition.

Soren has skipped five summons issued by the ED for questioning, the last one required him to appear before the agency on October 4.
