‘Karwa Chauth’ Turns Tragic: Wife Critical After Husband Stabs Her Multiple Times!

Hardoi: The Incident was reported from the Azad Nagar, Kotwali neighbourhood in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, where the victim, Moni Gupta, was attacked by her husband Manoj more than a dozen times while she was observing the fast of Karwa Chauth for her spouse.

According to the police, the kids had gone to their coaching classes, when the accused husband appeared out of nowhere and immediately began stabbing his wife. She was badly hurt after being stabbed by him more than a dozen times.

Hearing the victim’s cries, the neighbours came to the house, and the accused fled the scene.

As soon as the police were notified, they arrived and took the woman to a nearby hospital, where the doctors still regarded her situation as critical.

Although the couple has been married for 22 years, the victim’s family claims that Manoj has been harassing Moni for some time.

Additionally, Moni was allegedly attacked by her husband 3 days prior to this incident. She reported the incident to the police, but nothing was done about it.

Further inquiry into the case is being conducted even if the precise reason for the crime is still unknown.
