Kolkata: The Lohit Express experienced the detachment of approximately 10 coaches while heading from Guwahati, Assam, to Jammu on Tuesday.
This incident occurred near Suryakamal railway station, which is situated between Dalkhola in North Dinajpur district, West Bengal, and Kishanganj, Bihar.
In response to the incident, local police and station officials promptly responded and arrived at the scene.
Subsequently, the officials efficiently reattached the detached coaches, allowing the train to resume its journey towards its destination.
