UP Man Arrested for Threatening “Bombings” in Mumbai and Pune

Mumbai: A man was arrested by the Mumbai Police for allegedly making threatening phone calls regarding potential “bombings” in Mumbai and Pune.

The accused, identified as Darvesh Rajbhar, hails from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. The Mumbai police received a call a few days ago, wherein the caller not only issued the threat but also demanded money.

Taking swift action, the police managed to trace the location of the caller to Uttar Pradesh, where Darvesh Rajbhar was located. He was subsequently brought to Mumbai and placed under arrest on Thursday. Currently, an investigation is underway to delve deeper into the matter.

The incident underscores the importance of prompt and efficient law enforcement in addressing potential threats to public safety.
