Indian Mobile Phone Exports Record 2X Growth; Revenue Crosses ₹40K Crore

New Delhi: According to information provided by NITI Aayog, mobile phone exports during the current year up to November 2022 have already surpassed 40,000 crore rupees, which is more than double the exports achieved during the same period in 2021.

From six crores in 2014–15 to nearly 31 crores in 2021–22, mobile phone production has seen a massive rise. The Ministry of Electronics and IT’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) programs for Large-Scale Electronics Manufacturing have helped India achieve significant strides in the field of electronics manufacturing during the past five years, giving Atmanirbhar Bharat a boost.
