PM to Visit Kashmir for 1st Time Since Govt Abrogated Article 370

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kashmir Valley next week for the first time since the Central government withdrew the special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 in 2019 and divided the state into two Union Territories in 2019.

According to NDTV, during his trip, the PM will be address a rally in Srinagar on March 7 and launch various schemes.

According to sources, PM is expected to attend a program at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre in Srinagar. Elaborate security arrangements are underway. Police and paramilitary personnel have set up special inspection points at various sites across Srinagar.

On Feb 20, the PM visited the Union Territory, addressed a rally in Jammu and inaugurated projects worth Rs 32,000 crore.
