Prez Murmu To Inaugurate National Scout & Guide Jamboree In Rajasthan Today

Jaipur: The 18th National Scout and Guide Jamboree will be officially inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu today, at Rohat in Rajasthan’s Pali. Yesterday, the President arrived in Jaipur for a two-day trip to the state.

Rajasthan is hosting the Jamboree after 66 years. This seven-day mega-event will draw more than 35,000 scouts and guides from throughout the nation. A sophisticated jamboree village with all the amenities has been constructed, and 3500 tents have been pitched in Nimblee Village.

The Indian Airforce Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team’s performance will be the event’s main draw. The BSF Camel Squad will also perform a demonstration in addition to this. A number of competitions and activities will be arranged throughout the event. Young scouts will have the opportunity to exchange customs, dietary preferences, handicrafts, and religious practises at the National Jamboree.
