Shraddha Walkar Murder Case: 3000-Page Draft Chargesheet Prepared Delhi Police

New Delhi: A 3000-page draft chargesheet has been prepared by the Delhi Police in the Shraddha Walkar murder case.

The chargesheet comprises a mix of forensic and electronic evidence along with 100 testimonies.

The draft of the chargesheet has been prepared by the officials and legal experts are looking into it.

Aaftab Poonawala allegedly strangled his live-in partner Shraddha and cut her body into 35 pieces which he kept in a fridge at his residence in Mehrauli in south Delhi in May last year, before dumping them across the city over several days.

Apart from this, the confession of Aftab Poonawala and the report of the narco test are also included, although both these reports may not hold much importance in court.

From a prosecution standpoint, Poonawala’s confession to the police would not have been enough for a conviction.
