Six Killed, Five Injured In Car Accident In UP’s Prayagraj

Prayagraj: Six people were killed while five sustained grievous injuries after the car in which they were travelling collided with an electric pole and overturned in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place on Thursday night when the car was heading toward Vindhyanchal.

Pn being informed, police reached the spot and sent the injured persons to the hospital.

Police said that the post-mortem of the dead is being conducted. Police and administration are extending all kinds of help to affected families.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences over the loss of lives. The CM has also directed the Prayagraj district administration to give proper treatment to the injured.

While the exact reason behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained, police said that they are investigating the matter.
