Woman Accuses Co-Passenger of Misconduct on SpiceJet Flight, Deplanes Without Formal Complaint

New Delhi: A female passenger on SpiceJet flight SG 592, en route from Kolkata to Bagdogra on January 31, reported alleged inappropriate behaviour by her co-passenger. The airline’s spokesperson revealed that the cabin crew promptly addressed the situation by relocating the seat of the male passenger.

Despite the intervention, the accused co-passenger denied any wrongdoing. Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, both passengers were assisted and escorted by SpiceJet security staff to CISF officials in the arrival area. The female passenger demanded action against the co-passenger, who subsequently offered an apology in the presence of CISF staff. Surprisingly, the female passenger left the airport without filing a written complaint, impeding further investigation by SpiceJet.

The airline emphasized that its cabin crew actively assisted the female passenger throughout the incident, ensuring her comfort and safety. Details regarding the nature of the inappropriate behaviour and additional developments are still awaited.
