Wife Didn’t Return From Parents’ Home, Upset UP Man Ends Life

Lucknow: A 28-year-old man, who was distressed by his wife’s prolonged stay at her paternal home, ended his life at his home in Maniyar town in Uttar Pradesh, reported NDTV.

The deceased identified as Alok Rajak staying at Sarwar Kakargatti in Maniyar town. According to police sources, he hanged himself as he was upset over his wife not returning from her parents’ home.

Police took the body into custody and initiated further legal proceedings. An investigation into the matter is underway.
