10 Killed by Gunman in Walmart Store in America’s Virginia State 

A gunman fired indiscriminately at a Walmart supermarket in Chesapeake in America’s Virginia state killing at least 10 innocents. The assailant then shot himself to die on the spot. This gunman is believed to be a store manager.

Several others were also injured. Till now investigating officials have not found any clear reason behind this sudden firing incident.

According to reports, this shootout occurred at around 03:12 GMT on Wednesday.

Walmart authorities said they were “shocked at this tragic event” and that it was “working closely with law enforcement”.

Mark Warner, a Democratic senator for the state of Virginia, tweeted that he was “sickened by reports of yet another mass shooting”.

Virginia state Senator L. Louise Lucas, wrote on Twitter: “I will not rest until we find the solutions to end this gun violence epidemic in our country.”

Few days ago a gunman had opened fire at a LGBT nightclub in the US state of Colorado. Five were killed and 17 others were injured in this shootout. In 2019, a similar mass shooting occurred at a Walmart supermarket in the city of El Paso in Texas, with 23 dead.
