11-Yr-Old Girl Gang Raped by 4 Minors of Class 9 and Class 7 in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: An 11-year-old girl of class 7 was allegedly gang raped by four minor students in Chandigarh. One of the accused was her classmate. The three others were Class 9 students. All of them studied in a government school.

According to the victim’s mother, the incident took place a fortnight back. The victim was allegedly sexually assaulted by the four juveniles behind the bushes outside the school.

According to police sources, the four accused were blackmailing and threatening the victim. The girl under trauma revealed the incident to her mother, who met her class teacher. The class teacher called the child helpline.

A case was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) besides other sections on Thursday. The four suspects were apprehended and sent to a juvenile home.
