3 Minors Fined Rs 75,000 for Driving in Odisha’s Rayagada

Rayagada: Three minors were fined Rs 25, 000 each for driving without a licence in Odisha’s Rayagada district.

According to reports, three minor bikers were by the RTO in the Rayagada district for underage driving. A sum of Rs 75,000 was collected from them as fines for traffic rule violations.

It is pertinent to note that the State Road Transport Authority (STA) has launched a special drive to curb underage student driving in Odisha today.

The special drive will be mainly focused on the areas near schools and colleges. The special drive will be conducted from today that is March 28 and continue until April’s first week.

According to STA, strict action will be taken against the violators and a hefty fine of Rs 25,000 will be imposed for driving without a license during the special drive.

The registered owner of the vehicles that are found driven by underage students, will also face strict action said the STA.
