4 Members of Gold Snatchers’ Gang Arrested in Puri

Puri: Police have arrested at least four members of an inter-district gold chain snatchers’ gang in Odisha’s Puri district. The cops have also seized a gun, a live bullet, 7 gold chains, 2 gold rings, 7 mobile phones and Rs 6 thousand cash along with a bike.

According to reports, the snatched are involved in a racket of gold chains and other jewellery items snatching. Reportedly, this gang is an inter-district gang. Many cases are pending against the names of each of the members in different Police Stations of Puri.

The snatchers were arrested by Baliapanda Police. Further investigation of the case is underway.
