900 crore reduced to rubble in just 9 seconds

New Delhi: The twin tower in Sector 93A got demolished today for having been built against the rules. To demolish, around 3700kg of explosives had been inserted in 7000 holes in the pillars. The collapse took 9 seconds as said by the project engineer. Within a fraction of seconds, the Supertech twin-tower reduced to rubbles.

The whole demolition is insured for Rs. 100 crores to cover damage to adjacent buildings, in case things go sideways. The demolition will take place by 2:30 pm today and the locals living nearby will be shifted to safe places by 7 am today.
