Abducted Youth Beaten To Death in Burla

Burla: The body of a murdered youth was discovered near a petrol pump in Burla of Sambalpur district today morning. He was allegedly abducted and beaten to death by a group of assailants.

Past enmity is suspected to be the reason behind this murder. The deceased was identified as Rama Behera, an inhabitant of a village near Sambalpur University. As per localites, last night two miscreants had forcibly taken away the deceased on their bike.

Later the victim was beaten to death. The assailants preferred to dispose the body near the petrol pump and escaped. After recovering the body, investigating police personnel sent it to Burla medical college for autopsy. Search is on to track down the killers.
