All Party Meeting Ahead of Parliament’s Budget Session

New Delhi: An all-party meeting will be convened by the Centre on Monday ahead of the Budget session. It is a customary all-party meeting that is always convened on the eve of the budget session.

This meeting has been called up by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi. The budget session of the Parliament will begin on Tuesday.
During this all-party meeting, the Union government will especially seek the cooperation of opposition parties for the smooth functioning of the session.
The budget session of the Parliament will begin with President Droupadi Murmu’s address to both Houses of Parliament in the Central Hall. It will be followed by the presentation of the economic survey for 2022-23 in Parliament.
On Wednesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for 2023-24.
The first part of the session will be held from Tuesday till February 13.
The second part will commence on March 13 and culminate on April 6.
