Any 16-Yr-Old Will Change His/Her Gender Easily in This Country

It will be damn easy for transgender persons to change their gender in Spain even if they are teenagers. Spain is all set to pass the Transgender Rights Bill that will allow transgender people to change their gender through a simple declaration.

This bill will enable anyone of the age of 16 or above to change their legally registered gender without any medical supervision, reported BBC.

This bill got the approval of 188 lawmakers, while 150 voted against it. It has now moved to the Senate for final approval. If it is passed there, then it will become law within weeks.

This new law also allows children to have sex-change operations. According to the law, minors between the ages of 14 and 16 must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians and those between the ages of 12 and 13 will require a judge’s permission to make the move.
