Auction of Steve Job’s Olds Sandal May Fetch More Than Rs 48 Lakh

When you are a celebrity, even your worn-out sandals are worth lakhs. A pair of brown suede leather Birkenstock Arizona sandals once worn by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs are now up for auction. As per the auctioneers, these worn-out sandals having footmarks of Jobs may fetch more than $60,000, which is Rs 48,32,889 in Indian currency.

Some feel the auction price of these sandals may reach $80,000 (Rs 64,43,852).

The auction started on November 11 and is expected to continue till November 13.

As per the details on the auction house’s website,  Jobs wore this particular pair of sandals in the 1970’s and 1980’s. It is claimed that Steve Jobs wore these sandals In 1976, when he started the Apple computer in a garage along with Apple’s co-founder Steve Wozniak.

These sandals have already appeared in several exhibitions Italy, Germany and America.
