New Delhi: Ahead of the 2024 polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed new state presidents for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, and Jharkhand.
Andhra Pradesh BJP party president Somu Veerraju was replaced by Daggubati Purandeswari, who is the sister-in-law of Chandrababu Naidu.
The saffron party appointed G Kishen Reddy as the Telangana party president.
Sunil Jakhar was appointed the new Punjab party president.
Babu Lal Marandi was made the BJP president of Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, the party has also appointed Kiran Kumar Reddy, former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, as a member of the National Executive Committee, BJP.
