BJP MLA’s Wife Disappears from Home in UP

Lucknow: Pushpa Verma (65), the wife of a BJP MLA of UP, Sitaram Verma has gone missing from her home in Lucknow.

Pushpa suddenly disappeared from home on Tuesday morning. At around 6 am on Tuesday, Pushpa left the house without telling anyone.

Her husband is the BJP MLA from Lambhua Assembly seat in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur district.

Following a missing complaint filed by the MLA’s son, retired Lieutenant Colonel Pankaj Kumar, at the Ghazipur police station, multiple police teams were deployed to track her down.

On Tuesday morning around 6 a.m., Pushpa left the house without telling anyone.

Police are searching for Pushpa with the help of CCTV cameras and social media.

The MLA has told the police that Pushpa Verma is suffering from amnesia.
