Carcass Of Baby Elephant Found In Sundargarh

Sundargarh: The carcass of an elephant calf was found near Kusumudi village under Koida Range in Sundargarh district on Monday.

The elephant calf was around five years old, officials said.

According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the carcass of the elephant calf near the village and informed the Forest department.

On getting information, the officials reached the spot, seized the carcass of the animal and started an investigation into the incident.
