Cirkus will Bring Back Fashion Trends of 1960s

Ranbir Singh starrer Cirkus directed by Rohit Setty is set in 1967. The era of the 1960s has been recreated in this movie based on Shakespeare’s ‘The Comedy of Errors’. The teaser of the movie has already drawn the attention of all towards the retro-style statements of its characters.

This comedy movie has tried to showcase the iconic fashion in India during 1960s. According to the sources, the popular styles of that time will make a comeback with this film.

As per the style of 1960s the kameez of heroines will be shorter and actors will don bright colour costumes. The body-hugging skin-tight kurtas and blouses, anarkalis, polka dots, and poofy hair that were quite the rage in the 60s may get infused as present-day style statements because of the Cirkus.

Like what was the style in that time, actresses will have bold makeup, winged eyeliners, scarves, and bouffant hairstyles like Asha Parekh. It is rumored that a female character in Cirkus will sport the Sadhana Cut.

This movie is about two pairs of identical twins. Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma will play double roles. The four of them will enthrall the audience though comic situations of mistaken identity and confusion.

Cirkus will hit the screens on December 23.
