Class 12 Board Topper Commits Suicide on Raksha Bandhan in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: A 22-year-old girl, who was the Class 12 board topper in 2020 in Madhya Pradesh, ended her life on the day of Raksha Bandhan in Rewa district of the state.

According to the police, the deceased identified as Khushi Singh was found hanging in a room of her house in village Sohagi in the Teonthar area of Rewa on Monday.

Finding her hanging, her family members rushed her to a hospital. But she could not be saved.

According to investigating police officials, Khushi left no suicide note.

She was the topper in Madhya Pradesh in the Arts stream of the Class 12 board exams in 2020. She scored 486 out of 500 marks.

According to her family members, she aimed to become a teacher in future. Police are investigating the reason behind her drastic decision.
