Delhi Public School Receives Bomb Threat On Email; Nothing Found So Far

New Delhi: The Delhi Public School in Mathura Road received a bomb threat via an email on Wednesday. After receiving the threat, the school was immediately cleared.

On being informed, the police immediately reached the school and initiated a search operation on the premises. Cops have not found anything so far.

Along with police, bomb squad officials and ambulances are also present at the spot.

According to police reports, they received a call from the school authorities at around 8.10 am today. The school was immediately evacuated.

“There is no threat as no suspicious object found on the school premises yet. The situation is normal. Bomb Disposal Squad, Dog squad, and SWAT team sanitizing the school buildings,” informed Rajesh Deo, DCP South East.
