Drug Dealer Gunned Down By Miscreants In Khordha

Khordha: A drug dealer was gunned down by some miscreants at Thengahat area in Khordha on Wednesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Somnath Bhujbal alia Paku, a well-known brown sugar dealer of Khordha.

According to reports, the incident took place while Somnath was standing near Thengahat to leave for marriage party, when miscreants in a pick-up van shot him.

Subsequently, Somnath sustained bullet injuries. The locals immediately rushed him to the nearby hospital in Khordha. Later he was shifted to Bhubaneswar medical as his condition deteriorated. However, he succumbed to bullet injuries.

On being informed, police also reached the spot and initiated a probe in this regard.
