Headless body of Child Found; Human Sacrifice Suspected

Lucknow: Headless torso of a three-year-old child was found in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut on Tuesday. Later the head was found nearby. He was allegedly kidnapped from Preet Vihar area of east Delhi on November 30.

According to investigating police officials, a neighbor of the deceased child is suspected to be the murderer. This accused is a 16-year-old teenager. It is suspected that this juvenile killed the three-year-old child as part of a human sacrifice ritual.

The minor accused has been taken into custody by police. Basing on the information gathered from him, police recovered the body of the dead child from a sugarcane field at Meerut.

The police added that a hand was also missing while the head was found far away from the body.
