Home of UP Don’s Aide Bulldozed, 5 Days After Daylight Murder

Prayagraj: The Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) started demolishing the house of the aide of infamous gangster Atiq Ahmed. Atiq Ahmed is the prime accused in the Umesh Pal murder case.

The house is located in Chakia under the Kareli police station of Prayagraj. The house is said to be illegally constructed. The house is estimated to be around Rs 2.5 Crore.

Umesha Pal was the key witness in the 2005 murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal. He was gunned down outside his residence in Prayagraj in broad daylight on February 24. On the fateful day, armed men opened fire on Pal and two policemen outside his residence in the Sulem Sarai area of Prayagraj. Umesh Pal and one of the policemen, Sandeep Nishad died on the spot while another security personnel, Raghvendra Singh is critical.

The accused in the Umesh Pal case are under custody.
