Human Skeleton Found in Sack Recovered From Pond; Murder Suspected

Balasore: A human skeleton was recovered from a pond in Panisulia under Singla police limits of Odisha’s Balasore district.

The skeleton was packed in a bag and dumped into the pond. On being informed police reached the spot and recovered the sack. The cops are suspecting it to be a case of murder.

It is worth mentioning that, a year and a half back a girl went missing from Panisulia Durundi Kala village and a complaint was filed in this connection. However, the police could not trace her. The locals suspect the remains to be of the same missing girl.

Police have registered a case and started to probe into the matter. Further details related to the case are awaited.
