“I am Shocked” Prakash Raj on Kichcha Sudeep’s Support for BJP

New Delhi: Veteran actor Prakash Raj expressed his shock over Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep’s sudden support to the BJP just before the Karnataka assembly elections.

On Wednesday Kichcha Sudeep declared that he will support and campaign for the BJP for the May 10 assembly polls in Karnataka. But he declared that he will not contest in the polls on a BJP ticket.

Prakash Raj has also unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha elections as an Independent candidate from Bengaluru in 2019.

Bore Kichcha Sudeep expressed his desire to side with the saffron party, Prakash Raj had expressed, “I strongly believe this is a Fake news spread by the desperate, loosing BJP in Karnataka. @KicchaSudeep is far more sensible Citizen to fall prey.”

But proving Prakash Raj wrong, Kichcha Sudeep made his plans to be part of the saffron brigade at a press conference with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai by his side on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters yesterday, Mr Sudeep referred to Mr Bommai as his “godfather” and said he would have supported him irrespective of the party he was in.
