IMD Issues Rain, Thunderstorm Alert In Several Odisha Districts Today

Bhubaneswar: The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain or thunderstorm on Monday.

As per the prediction, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri and Kandhamal and at one or two places over the remaining districts of Odisha.

According to the IMD forecast, a thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Angul and Dhenkanal today.
