IMD Issues Yellow Warning for 10 Dists of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the Indian Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow warning for ten districts of Odisha. Some places in the state will receive heavy rains on March 31 due to a western disturbance.

A yellow warning has been issued for Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack, Nyagarh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, and Koraput districts.

Districts including Cuttack, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak and Kendrapara are likely to receive heavy rain.

Rain along with winds at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour is likely to hit Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Khurda and Boudh districts along with six coastal districts of Odisha.

The Meteorological Department has predicted a thundershower with lightning for 13 districts of the state on March 30th.
