Man Sentenced to Death by Nayagarh Court for Murdering Two in 2019

Nayagarh: A person was convicted and sentenced to death for killing two persons by the Court of Additional District & Sessions Judge in Odisha’s Nayagarh on Friday.

The convict had committed a double murder in the Nayagarh district in January 2019.

The convict sentenced to death happens to be Niranjan Mallik of Kushdhipi village under Odagaon police station limits. In January 2019, Niranjan had killed a security guard and a woman in the Odagaon area. He had also injured three others.

The court convicted him after examining 27 witnesses during the trial.
