Truck Overturns in Keonjhar, Driver and Helper Dead

Keonjhar: The driver and helper of a truck lost their lives in Keonjhar on Tuesday when the vehicle overturned. Reckless speed driving is said to be the reason behind this accident. According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control of the truck and it overturned after hitting the road divider. The incident occurred at the Kaipur Bridge on NH 49 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to sources, this accident happened at around 3 pm while the truck was about to cross the Kaipur Bridge. Due to the high speed, the driver lost control and the truck hit the road divider hard. To take control, the truck driver suddenly used the brake as a result the vehicle overturned on the bridge. The driver and the helper were thrown off the truck. Both died on the spot.

After the accident, Telkoi Police reached the spot to investigate. Police seized the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
