India Records 1300 New Covid Cases in last 24 hrs; Highest in 140 Days

New Delhi: The country has registered one thousand three hundred new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The Union Health Ministry stated that seven hundred eighteen people recovered during the same period.

The recovery rate is currently at 98.79 per cent. India’s active caseload currently stands at over seven thousand and it stands at 0.02 per cent.

The Ministry said, over seven thousand 500 vaccine doses of COVID were administered during the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive.

So far, over 220 crores of 65 lakh vaccine doses were administered across the country.
