Junior Revenue Assistant Sacked Following Conviction in Graft Case

Bhubaneswar: Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Junior Revenue Assistant, Office of Settlement Officer, Ganjam has been dismissed from Odisha government service following his conviction in a vigilance case.

Sahu was arrested and chargesheeted by the state vigilance for demanding and accepting bribe from a complainant to provide the copy of Yadast relating to his land properties.

Pradeep was convicted by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur on 11.09.2023 and sentenced to two years in jail. The court had also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.
