Lightning Strike Claims Youth’s Life In Balasore

Balasore: A youth died after being struck by a lightning strike at Devog village of Baliapal block in Odisha’s Balasore district.

The deceased youth has been identified as Madhu Dadai, a resident of Devog village of Baliapal block in the district.

According to reports, the incident occurred while Madhu was returning home on his bicycle on Monday evening when he was struck by lightning while he was crossing a field and fell to the ground.

The family member of Madhu rushed him to the Baliapal community health center, where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
