LPG Cylinder Blast Kills 6 of a Family in Panipat

Chandigarh: LPG cylinder blast claimed the lives of six members of a family in Tehsil Camp area near Haryana’s Panipat on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at around 6.30 am on Thursday. At that time food was being cooked in the kitchen of the family.

The ill-fated family had migrated from West Bengal to work in a private factory.

The deceased of this family included a couple and their four children. The deceased were identified as Abdul Karim (45), wife Afroza (40), daughters Ishrat (20), Reshma (17), and sons Abdush (12) and Afan (10).

Fire brigade and police rushed to the spot.
