Major Fire Breaks Out At PVC Pipes Warehouse In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A major fire broke out at a pipe warehouse in Maneshwar block under Gunderpur in Odisha’s Sambalpur on Monday.

Reportedly, the incident took place at around 9.00 am. Following this, a huge black smoke was seen billowing out of the warehouse creating panic in the area.

On being informed, Fire Services personnel rushed to the warehouse and struggled to bring the fire under control. However, a huge stock of PVC pipes stored in the warehouse were destroyed before the fire could be brought under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
