Man Bludgeons Elder Brother To Death With Stone In Athagarh

Athagarh: A man allegedly bludgeoned his elder brother to death over a family dispute in Rasarshikpur area under Athagarh police station limits in Cuttack district on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Jagannath Pradhan (50).

According to reports, the incident occurred while Jagannath was sleeping under a tree near the Saraswati Children’s Temple when his younger brother Tukuna Pradhan arrived at the spot and crushed Jagannath to death with a stone.

On being informed, Athagarh police arrived at the medical center and detained in Ashtgarh police station Tukuna for interrogation. The police are now going through the CCTV to ascertain what occurred on Sunday evening.
