Man & Son Killed, Another Critical As Truck Run Over Them in Talcher

Angul: A man and his three-year-old son were killed after being run over by a truck in Talcher of Odisha’s Angul district. Another person is critically injured in this accident.

The deceased were identified as Md Asif and his son Md Asbar of the Godibandha area in Talcher. The injured was identified as Asif’s nephew, Md Khirodlal.

According to reports, the tragedy took place when the trio was returning to Godibandha after a round of Eid shopping from Talcher market. Reportedly, the father-son duo died on the spot. The injured was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.

On being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for autopsy. The cops have also initiated a probe into the matter.
