Man Thrashes Wife To Death Over Family Fued In Balangir

Balangir: A man allegedly thrashed his wife to death due to a family dispute at Ghumer village in Balangir district.

The deceased has been identified as Raimati Sahu, a resident of Ghumer village.

According to reports, a heated argument ensued between the accused identified as Laxmindra Sahu and his wife Raimati over a family dispute. Irked over the matter Laxmindra took a rode and beat his wife to death.

On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for autopsy. The cops have also detained the accused for interrogation.

Further investigation is underway in this regard.
