Man Trampled To Death By Wild Elephant In Angul

Angul: A man was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Sanhinsh village under Bantala police station in Angul district on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Hadibandhu Bhoi.

According to reports, the incident took place while Hadibandhu was returning home at around 8.00 pm when a pachyderm attacked him near his village killing him on the spot.

Later some locals spotted Hadibandhu lying dead on the road and informed his family and cops.

Upon being informed, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation in this regard.
